The Anndroids are a group of 7-12th grade students that come together to do something bigger than simply building a robot. We learn STEAM skills that aren’t always offered in the classroom, how to work as a team, business skills that are helpful in the workplace, and much more. We create relationships and work with new people both on our team and on other teams. While FIRST Robotics may be the means in which we do that, we are so much more than a robot.
To accomplish this, we spend a few months learning new skills in preparation for the new season, then plan, build, code, wire, fundraise, and more during a 6 week build season. After those 6 weeks, we go to competitions where we compete with and against other teams.
